This licence agreement applies to digital products purchased from Texture Crate. By purchasing, downloading, or using a product, you agree to these terms.
Licence grant
Each purchase includes a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased files in personal and commercial projects, subject to the licence tier selected at checkout and the restrictions below. The files are licensed, not sold, and ownership of the original files remains with Texture Crate.
Licence tiers
Indie licence
For freelancers, hobbyists, or individual creators. This licence covers one person.
Studio licence — 5 users
For studios, agencies, or teams with up to five users working within the same organisation.
Studio licence — 20 users
For studios, agencies, teams, or educational institutions with up to twenty users working under a single organisation.
If more people need access, each additional person or organisation must obtain an appropriate licence. If you are unsure which tier applies, contact us before purchasing.
What you may do
You may:
- use the files in personal and commercial projects;
- modify, adapt, and incorporate the files into your own creative work;
- render and distribute final images, animations, games, films, presentations, and other finished work created with the files;
- allow covered users within your organisation to access the files for work produced under that organisation.
What you may not do
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, or give away the original files, whether modified or unmodified;
- upload the files to file-sharing platforms, asset repositories, shared libraries, or services where people outside the licensed users can access or extract them;
- sell or distribute the files as a standalone product, stock asset, template, material library, or in any form that competes with the original product;
- transfer the licence to another person or organisation.
Product updates
Where a product includes future updates, those updates are covered by the same licence tier as the original purchase. Access to updates does not change the number of permitted users or any other restriction in this agreement.
Refunds and termination
If a refund is issued, your licence ends immediately. You must stop using the product and permanently delete the downloaded files and all copies made. See the refund policy for information about refund requests.
Texture Crate may terminate a licence if these terms are materially breached. On termination, all use of the product must stop and all copies must be deleted.
